Meaning of Keelak in English:
Markandeya ji says – Salutations to Lord Shiva, whose body is pure knowledge, whose three eyesare 3 vedas, who is for welfare and who wears the half moon on his head. One should know the Saptshati stotra which has the power to removes obstacles in mantra siddhi, curses.
Those who do not chant other mantras and praise the Goddess only with this hymn called Saptashati, they easily get the blessings of Sachchidanandaswarupini Devi. They don’t need to use other mantras, medicines and any other means for the accomplishment of their work. Without chanting, his incantation and Uchhatan i.e. deflexion happened.
Not only this, all their desired wishes are fulfilled. There was a doubt in the minds of the people that ‘When all the works are proved equally by worshiping only Saptashati or by worshiping other mantras then which is the best means?. Keeping this doubt of the people in front, Lord Shankar explained to the curious people who came to him that this entire source named Saptashati is the best and welfare. After that, Mahadev ji hid the means named Saptashati of Bhagwati Chandika; The virtue that is obtained from the recitation of Saptashati never ends; But the virtues generated by chanting of other mantras get destroyed, so it should be known that Lord Shiva has decided the superiority of Saptashati in comparison to other mantras.
If a man who chants other mantras also performs the ritual of chanting the Saptashati, then he is also a part of welfare completely. Surrenders his everything and then accepts it in the form of Prasad, Bhagavati is happy on that; Otherwise their happiness would not have been attained; In this way Mahadev ji has locked this means by locking the restrictive form of Siddhi.
